Frequently asked questions
Do I need to fast for blood tests?▾
Yes for fasting lipid profile and glucose: 10–12 hours with no food or drink (water allowed). Other tests (CBC, TSH, serology) do not require fasting. Follow the instructions on your prescription.
How long do results take at Laboratoire G Lab?▾
Laboratoire G Lab typically delivers most results within 24 to 48 hours. Some tests (bacterial cultures, specific serology) can take 5–10 days. Results are available online, by email or on-site collection.
Are biological tests reimbursed by CNSS/CNOPS?▾
Yes: 70% by CNSS and 80% by CNOPS based on the national ANAM tariff, for tests prescribed by a doctor. Bring the prescription and your insurance card on collection day.
