Management and treatments
Pregnancy is not a disease. It requires medical follow-up: at least 7 antenatal consultations (Ministry), 3 ultrasounds (12, 22, 32 weeks), trimester blood panels, iron + folic acid + vitamin D supplementation. Reimbursed by AMO.
Prevention
Before pregnancy: pre-conception check-up, up-to-date vaccinations, stop tobacco/alcohol, folic acid supplementation one month before conception. During: regular follow-up, balanced diet, avoid toxoplasmosis (raw meat) and listeriosis (raw-milk cheese).

What exams are reimbursed in Morocco?+
Consultations, 3 ultrasounds, blood panels and required serologies are reimbursed by CNSS/CNOPS at 70-80% of the national tariff.
Can I fly while pregnant?+
Yes up to about 32 weeks with medical clearance. Some airlines require a certificate after 28 weeks.
