On-call pharmacies
On-call pharmacies in Fez today (8 open) — Monday, November 2, 2026
On Monday, November 2, 2026, 8 pharmacies are on duty in Fez: 8 open 24/7, across 13 districts (Agdal, Zouagha, Saiss). In a life-threatening emergency call 141 (SAMU); Civil Protection (fire brigade, ambulances) 15, police 19, Royal Gendarmerie 177.
Fes, Morocco's spiritual and cultural capital, counts around 320 pharmacies spread across the Ville Nouvelle (Atlas, Saiss, Narjis), the Ancient Medina (Fes el-Bali, Fes el-Jdid) and outlying districts such as Ain Chkef and Ain Smen. The exceptional density of Fes el-Bali medina — a UNESCO World Heritage site — makes pharmacy access difficult at night, so accurate knowledge of the on-call roster is essential. CHU Hassan II, located near the motorway, handles major emergencies for the entire Fes-Meknes region and operates a 24/7 hospital pharmacy for inpatients. Sahha publishes the full list of Fes on-call pharmacies daily: name, address, direct phone, day/night/24h status and map link. The roster follows the official calendar of the Regional Pharmacists' Council: daytime pharmacies open until 9 PM, then night pharmacies until 9 AM the next day. Several 24/7 pharmacies operate in the Ville Nouvelle along the main arteries (Hassan II Avenue, Imouzzer Road). In an emergency when every pharmacy is closed, dial 141 (SAMU) or head to the emergency department of CHU Hassan II.
