Who is covered by the CNSS?+

All private-sector employees, their spouses and dependent children (up to age 21, or 26 for students). Pensioners keep their entitlements.

What is the TNR?+

The Tarif National de Référence is the baseline rate set by ANAM, used by the CNSS to compute reimbursements. Anything above is on you, unless you have top-up cover.

How do I get reimbursed?+

Submit your file at a CNSS branch or via the insured area online (daamanty.cnss.ma). Average lead time: 15–30 days. Keep originals of prescriptions, invoices and orders.

Direct billing for hospitalisation?+

The CNSS uses direct billing in public hospitals and approved clinics: you only pay the user fee (10–30% depending on the act).

What is an ALD?+

Long-term condition: 38 chronic conditions (diabetes, cancer, severe hypertension…) reimbursed at 100% after medical approval.
