Galvus est indiqué dans le traitement adjuvant avec un régime et de l'activité physique chez les patients diabétiques de type 2: - en monothérapie lorsque le régime et l'activité physique ne sont pas suffisants, - en double association --avec la metformine lorsque le régime, l'activité physique et la metformine n'offrent pas à eux seuls un contrôle suffisant de la glycémie, --avec une sulfonylurée (SU) lorsque le régime, l'activité physique et la sulfonylurée n'offrent pas à eux seuls un contrôle suffisant de la glycémie, --avec une thiazolidinedione (TZD) lorsque le régime, l'activité physique et la thiazolidinedione n'offrent pas à eux seuls un contrôle suffisant de la glycémie, - en triple association --avec la metformine et une sulfonylurée lorsque le régime, l'activité physique et la double association de ces deux substances n'offrent pas un contrôle suffisant de la glycémie.
