Cancer Bronchique Non à Petites Cellules (CBNPC) Erlotinib est indiqué en première ligne de traitement des formes localement avancées ou métastatiques du cancer bronchique non à petites cellules (CBNPC) chez les patients présentant des mutations activatrices de l’EGFR. Erlotinib est également indiqué dans le traitement de switch maintenance des formes localement avancées ou métastatiques du CBNPC chez les patients avec mutations activatrices de l’EGFR et présentant une maladie stable après une première ligne de chimiothérapie. Erlotinib est également indiqué dans le traitement des formes localement avancées ou métastatiques du CBNPC après échec d'au moins une ligne de chimiothérapie. Chez les patients avec des tumeurs sans mutations activatrices de l’EGFR, Erlotinib est indiqué lorsque les autres options de traitement ne sont pas considérées appropriées. Lors de la prescription de Erlotinib, les facteurs associés à une survie prolongée doivent être pris en considération. Aucun bénéfice en survie ou autres effets cliniquement significatifs du traitement n’ont été démontrés chez les patients dont l’expression du récepteur au facteur de croissance épidermique (EGFR) de la tumeur (déterminée par IHC) était négative. Cancer du pancréas Erlotinib, en association à la gemcitabine, est indiqué dans le traitement du cancer du pancréas métastatique. Lors de la prescription de Erlotinib, les facteurs associés à une survie prolongée doivent être pris en considération. Aucun avantage en survie n’a été montré chez les patients ayant une maladie localement avancée.
