Hypertension. Prophylaxie à long terme après un infarctus du myocarde chez les patients souffrant d'une insuffisance cardiaque cliniquement manifeste. Traitement de l'insuffisance cardiaque symptomatique pour soutenir un traitement diurétique avec ou sans glucoside cardiotonique. Diminution du risque d'infarctus du myocarde, d'accident vasculaire cérébral ou de décès d'origine cardio-vasculaire chez les patients ayant un risque cardio-vasculaire élevé et/ou un diabète de type 2. Néphropathie glomérulaire avec protéinurie supérieure à 3 g/jour.
