Priorix est un vaccin indiqué chez les enfants de plus de 9 mois, les adolescents et les adultes afin de les protéger contre les maladies provoquées par les virus de la rougeole, des oreillons et de la rubéole. Comment agit Priorix Lorsqu’une personne est vaccinée par Priorix, le système immunitaire (le système de défense naturelle de l’organisme) fabrique des anticorps protégeant la personne vaccinée contre les infections par les virus de la rougeole, des oreillons et de la rubéole. Bien que Priorix contienne des virus vivants, ceux-ci sont trop faibles pour provoquer la rougeole, les oreillons ou la rubéole chez les personnes en bonne santé.
