Rapifen est un analgésique réservé à l'anesthésie: Maintien de l'anesthésie Rapifen convient aux interventions chirurgicales prolongées, où il importe d'assurer un réveil rapide, et s'accompagnant d'une dépression respiratoire aussi courte que possible. Après l'injection d'induction, Rapifen est administré soit en perfusion continue, soit en réinjections à la demande. Sa grande flexibilité permet d'augmenter rapidement la dose lors de phases opératoires douloureuses. Narcoses brèves En raison de son action rapide et brève, Rapifen est également indiqué comme inducteur d'anesthésie lors d'opérations douloureuses et de courte durée, tant en milieu hospitalier qu'en ambulatoire. L'analgésie chirurgicale est atteinte 1 min après l'injection.
