CEFTRIAXONE est indiqué dans le traitement des infections suivantes chez l’adulte et l’enfant, y compris le nouveau-né à terme (à partir de la naissance) : # Méningite bactérienne # Pneumonie communautaire # Pneumonie nosocomiale # Otite moyenne aiguë # Infections intra-abdominales # Infections urinaires compliquées (pyélonéphrite incluse) # Infections des os et des articulations # Infections compliquées de la peau et des tissus mous # Gonorrhée # Syphilis # Endocardite bactérienne Peut être utilisé : # Dans le traitement des poussées aiguës de bronchopneumopathie chronique obstructive chez l’adulte. # Dans le traitement de la maladie de Lyme disséminée (phase précoce [stade II] et phase tardive [stade III]) chez l’adulte et l’enfant, y compris chez le nouveau-né à partir de l’âge de 15 jours. # En prophylaxie préopératoire des infections du site opératoire. # Pour le traitement des patients neutropéniques fébriles dont l’origine bactérienne est suspectée. # Dans le traitement des patients présentant une bactériémie associée ou suspectée d’être associée à l’une des infections listées ci-dessus.
