Comprimés Traitement symptomatique de l'anxiété, de l'excitation et de la tension psychique résultant d'états psychonévrotiques et de troubles passagers dus à une situation stressante. Comme adjuvant dans le traitement de troubles psychiques et organiques à composante anxieuse. L'anxiété peut se manifester sous la forme d'une dysthymie accompagnée de troubles anxieux manifestes ou d'un comportement anxieux et/ou se traduire par des symptômes fonctionnels, neurovégétatifs ou moteurs (palpitations cardiaques, hyperhidrose, troubles du sommeil, tremblements, agitation nerveuse, etc.). Traitement préopératoire chez les patients anxieux et stressés. Indications en psychiatrie Traitement des états d'excitation dans le cadre d'états d'anxiété aiguë et d'attaques de panique, lors d'épisodes d'agitation motrice et de delirium tremens. Effet anticonvulsivant Traitement de l'état de mal épileptique et d'autres états convulsifs. Gynécologie et obstétrique Traitement de l'éclampsie, lorsque le sulfate de magnésium est contre-indiqué ou inefficace ou indisponible. Relaxation musculaire Comme adjuvant pour soulager les contractures musculaires réflexes (y compris tétanos) lors de traumatismes locaux (blessures, inflammations), lutter contre des états de spasticité musculaire en cas de lésion des interneurones médullaires et supra-médullaires; des altérations de ce type peuvent, par exemple, survenir en cas de spasmes d'origine cérébrale et de paraplégie, ainsi que lors d'athétose et du syndrome de l'homme raide.
