Vipdomet est indiqué dans le traitement des patients adultes âgés de 18 ans et plus atteints de diabète de type 2 : - en complément au régime et à l’exercice pour améliorer le contrôle glycémique chez les patients adultes insuffisamment contrôlés par la dose maximale tolérée de metformine en monothérapie, ou ceux recevant déjà une association alogliptine-metformine. - en association à la pioglitazone (c.-à-d. en trithérapie) en complément au régime alimentaire et à l’exercice physique pour améliorer le contrôle glycémique chez les patients adultes insuffisamment contrôlés par la dose maximale tolérée de metformine et de la pioglitazone. - en association à l’insuline (c.-à-d. en trithérapie) en complément au régime et à l’exercice pour améliorer le contrôle glycémique chez les patients lorsqu’une dose stable d’insuline et de la metformine seule ne suffisent pas à apporter un contrôle glycémique adéquat
