Indications
CEFUROXIME pour perfusion est indiqué dans le traitement des infections suivantes chez les adultes et chez les enfants, y compris chez les nouveau-nés (dès la naissance) : • Pneumonie communautaire acquise ; • Exacerbations aiguës de bronchite chronique ; • Infections compliquées des voies urinaires, y compris pyélonéphrite ; • Infections des tissus mous : cellulite, érysipèle et infections des plaies ; • Infections intra-abdominales ; • Prévention des infections en chirurgie gastro-intestinale (y compris œsophagienne), orthopédique, cardiovasculaire et gynécologique (y compris césarienne). Dans le traitement et la prévention des infections avec présence très probable d’organismes anaérobies, la céfuroxime doit être administrée en association à d’autres agents antibactériens appropriés. Il convient de tenir compte des recommandations officielles concernant l’utilisation appropriée des antibactériens.
